8281 -  The Godhead--New Scriptural Insights
on the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost
,
by Duane S. Crowther.

The Godhead is a highly significant new book! Carefully crafted, precisely written, and fully documented, the book assembles numerous meaningful new scriptural patterns. Many focus on significant matters which have had scant previous attention in Latter-day Saint scholarship. A major objective has been to document broad new scripture patterns dealing with many facets of the nature of Godhood. New doctrines? No—they’ve been in the scriptures for centuries, but profound new insights? By the hundreds!
The Godhead shows, historically and scripturally, how allegorical- interpretation methodologies of “trinity” advocates altered the major doctrines of Christianity, causing them to discount the many literal Biblical statements concerning the nature of God. Other major contributions of The Godhead include its numerous insights on premortal events, its compiling of hundreds of scriptures showing the physical nature of God, and its in-depth scriptural demonstration that Jesus is Jehovah. More key insights treat the essential attributes of Godhead members, their “spirit” nature, their “threeness” and “oneness” relationships, the varied “fatherhood” roles of Jesus Christ; the nature of glory, Christ’s roles among the Gods, and how mankind can attain Godhood.

1037 - The Holy Ghost—
The Third Member of the Godhead
,
by Mary Margaret Muller.

The Holy Ghost—The Third Member of the Godhead shows how revelation is our sixth sense. It cites prophetic references and gives scriptural accounts for the various topics it covers, including associated gifts and conditions such as "The Holy Spirit of Promise," "The Second Comforter," "The More Sure Word of Prophecy," and when a "Calling and Election" is made sure.
This book explains how to teach by the Holy Ghost, or with the Spirit, and how to stay in tune with Him. It shows that the Holy Ghost gives us courage, so much so that the threats of men are of no consequence. It reminds us that what was available to Joseph Smith in the way of revelation is also available to us, as we become more ready to receive it.
The Holy Ghost—The Third Member of the Godhead is clear and direct in its presentation, with a review at the end of each chapter, and a comprehensive bibliography.  $13.98

1035 - How Greek Philosophy Corrupted the Christian Concept of God,
by Richard R. Hopkins.

How Greek Philosophy Corrupted the Christian Concept of God brings profound new insights to the Trinitarian doctrines of "orthodox" Christianity. With clear and precise documentation, the book shows how these doctrines migrated into early Christianity from Greek philosophy. The various aspects of Trinitarian belief are isolated, linked to their Greek sources, and carefully analyzed to show how they differ radically from biblical teaching.
The author vigorously defends his own doctrinal views as he examines the roots of traditional Christian theology. He writes with precision, careful scholarship and a thorough knowledge of the subject. His well-stated message will make interesting, thought-provoking reading for those of all Christian faiths. It is clearly deserving of careful examination by Christian theologians and Bible believers worldwide!

1013 - Mormon Doctrine of Deity–The Roberts-Vander Donckt Discussion,
by B.H. Roberts.

Mormon Doctrine of Deity is one of the most comprehensive statements and scriptural presentations of the Latter-day Saint doctrine of the nature of God in print. In 1901, Elder Roberts set forth with clarity the Latter-day Saint doctrine concerning God in a talk which was published in the Improvement Era.
A priest of the Roman Catholic Church wrote a reply to it. In his reply he eloquently set forth the typical Catholic and Protestant view. Elder Roberts then wrote a skillful rejoinder to Reverend Van Der Donckt, which answered his assertions with forthright clarity. Mormon Doctrine of Deity contains Elder Roberts' original discourse, the Catholic Reverend's challenge, and Elder Roberts' reply. To these items, Elder Roberts added a collection of passages from Mormon works setting forth numerous other aspects of the LDS views of Deity. Discourses on the Godhead by Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, Orson Pratt, and Joseph F. Smith have also been included.
Mormon Doctrine of Deity is highly readable. It is scriptural, it is logical, it is comprehensive!  $17.98
