Teaching that truly motivates is a challenge! As today's youth have been raised in the era of TV and packaged entertainment, typical lectures and class discussions may sometimes lack the attention-getting ability needed to reach this age group and encourage positive change. Inventive approaches and new settings are the keys for teachers who strive to achieve this goal. This book contains fourteen creative ideas that youth leaders can use to supplement the lesson materials of the Young Women program. Two activities for each of the seven Young Women values are outlined and explained. Each lesson states the chosen value and objective of the activity, in addition to listing the materials needed, essential preparation information, invitation ideas, step-by-step instructions and suggested goals to assign. These fun events will promote group interaction and involvement and will enable teachers too inspire and motivate the young women of their Wards. Used effectively, these lessons will ultimately change lives for the better.
